Declare Climate Emergency

I woke up to another sad news from back home.

Climate change is affecting the most vulnerable. The Philippines experiences at least 20 storms and typhoons each year because of its location. However these typhoons are getting worse and more devastating each year. These past couple of weeks alone, 5 typhoons brought thousands of my fellow countrymen driven away from their own homes and their livelihoods destroyed. In my home province, towns are still submerged in floodwater and many are waiting to be rescued.

We should act now. Climate change is affecting all of us. We should call for our governments to declare climate emergency.
