Differences

We met. We had fun.

We decided there was more to this since it began.

It’s been two years now since we met.

Since then I thought we will always find a way

to make this work and here to stay.

We’re two different people:

Different beliefs, different values, different cultures:

I question your opinions, you question mine.

And most of the time, we end up arguing, saying things out of line.

How long will we hold on to this relationship?

You say we love each other, I couldn’t agree more.

But is love enough to make a relationship last?

I know I promised I will stay.

But how, when we can’t find ways to meet halfway?
